Eyebrow Microblading|Shading After Care
Thank you for choosing Paradise Lashes! Taking care of your eyebrows after Micoblading or Shading is crucial in order to obtain the most beautiful, long lasting results.
On the evening after your eyebrow service rinse the eyebrows with mild soap and water to remove all the lymph and excess pigment. Repeat this 2 times a day for the following 2 days. Because the brow area will be sensitive, I recommend a very mild cleanser such as Cerave or Cetaphil.
Apply healing balm ONLY when eyebrows are itchy or dry. Leave on for 1-2 hours, then gently pat away any excess balm with a moist paper towel. This prevents excess balm accumulation, which may delay healing process.
For The Next 2 Weeks
Avoid all creams (except for provided healing balm) and all make-up including foundation and tinted moisturizer on the eyebrow area. Avoid saunas, facial massages and steaming .
Avoid sunbathing, light therapies, chemical peels, fruit acids, microdermabrasion and creams that contain regeneration factors.
Note: Always avoid laser treatments over the microbladed|shaded area (fraxel, laser, ipl) because they can destroy the pigments and cause burns. Use of antibiotics and hormonal therapy can lead to faster microblading pigment fading. Always protect the eyebrows from the sun with SPF (EXCEPT during the first 2 weeks) .
The best sun protection comes from sunblocks that contain higher levels of zinc oxide such as Neutrogena Sheer Zinc SPF50 which absorbs quickly and sheer so you are able to apply your makeup without a problem. For ultra sensitive skin or to cut down on application time, you may want to try Color Science Sunforgettable Mineral SPF 50 which is a mess-free tinted powder that has broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection and is the most portable sunscreen you'll find.
